Graham Coxon will be one of the special guests of Damon Albarn when his Blur bandmate performs at the Royal Albert Hall on November 15th.

Albarn is due to play two nights at the London venue with his solo backing band The Heavy Seas, and has also invited De La Soul and Vic Mensa along for the ride.

Although their partnership in Blur has become ever more infrequent, the pair did perform together at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity in 2013, when they publicly buried the hatchet with former Oasis man Noel Gallagher, and more recently shared a stage at the Latitude Festival just last summer.

Albarn is though more concerned with his debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots‘, of which Live4ever’s review said: “The title-track’s gentle, mystical and skeletal structure discusses the pros and cons of being in an age consumed by flashing lights and forwarding emails, a trademark mismatch of electronic instrumentation and folk traits which deliver the song’s nature as being both man and machine wrapped in wires, but also warmth.”
