We were front row when they played our hometown of New York City back in September, and on Friday night (November 21st) Live4ever was back in the company of Kasabian at our second homebase of Leeds when the band played the city’s First Direct Arena as part of a lengthy UK and Ireland arena tour.

The tour has already made headlines thanks to an errant video backdrop on the opening night in Glasgow which displayed the message ‘London is full of c*nts’ to the crowd.

Although it probably went down quite well, guitarist Serge Pizzorno was compelled to issue a statement to NME in attempt to absolve the band of blame. “We were as shocked as anyone else,” he said. “The production team f*cked up. There were supposed to be photos of mundane objects in that section but instead I turned around in the middle of ‘Clouds’ and couldn’t believe my eyes.”

“We were all shocked and certainly didn’t mean to offend anyone. I hope this doesn’t detract from the gig itself, which was probably the most amazing one we’ve played all year.”
