Foo Fighters won’t be repeating ‘Sonic Highways’ recording process

Recording their new album ‘Sonic Highways‘ in eight different US cities with many different musical guests might have seemed like a good idea to start with, but Foo Fighters Dave Grohl has said he will ‘never do it again’.

“I’m never f***ing doing it again!” he told NME. “But I can imagine there are bands from countries all over the world that could do the same thing. England’s a great example of another country where each city has regional relevance.”

“I think that every country could have its own Sonic Highways series. England could definitely have it.”

Meanwhile, in a sure sign that no-one really has any idea who’ll be headlining Glastonbury next year, bookies have made Foo Fighters the new favourites to do just that after Grohl last week told Michael Eavis it will only take a quick phone call for them to agree terms.

The comments quickly resulted in the band’s odds being slashed from a lengthy 14/1 to 8/11.
