Fleetwood Mac won’t be at Glastonbury, but they will be in the UK next June for their own headline shows.

The band play two nights at the 02 Arena in London on May 27th and 28th, and then move on to other sizable venues in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds. ‘Never say never’, meanwhile, was the message from Mick Fleetwood when speaking with BBC Radio 2 recently regarding a Glastonbury headline, but he did confirm what organiser Michael Eavis told us last week – that the band will not be headlining in 2015.

“One of the things that I’d like to clear up is that we’re not playing Glastonbury,” he told BBC Radio 2. “A lot of folks think that we are, so loud and clear: We love Glastonbury and all the surrounding history of such a lovely festival but we’re not playing it. No bad faith for Glastonbury because I just don’t want people thinking it’s us.”

While he’s been unwilling to tell us who will be playing, Eavis has, as well as Fleetwood Mac, also ruled out Queen and Led Zeppelin, but did sound very keen on getting Oasis to reform for what would be a third headline performance on the Pyramid Stage.

MAY
