Editors, The Charlatans and Slow Club will support the Save The Children charity next month with a special one-off gig at Union Chapel in London.

On December 4th, the ‘Christmas Jumper Jam’ is to coincide with the charity’s Christmas Jumper Day, when people are being urged to wear their favourite festive woollies and donate to the cause.

BBC DJ Lauren Laverne will host the evening which is due to run from 7pm-10pm. Tickets can be picked up from this link. More names are expected to be added to the line-up shortly.

The Charlatans are returning with their new album ‘Modern Nature’ in January next year, their first studio release since the untimely death of drummer Jon Brookes last year; “Jon was adamant that there was going to be another Charlatans record, and you have to put that into your own thoughts,” keyboardist Tony Rogers has said.

Slow Club put their most recent album, ‘Complete Surrender‘, out in the summer while Editors did the same in June 2013.
