50 years of The Who were celebrated in London last night (November 11th) for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity when the likes of Eddie Vedder, Liam Gallagher and Wilko Johnson made guest appearances with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend‘s current live band.

Liam Gallagher reprised the cover he so often performed during his time with Oasis – watch a video of ‘My Generation‘ below – while Pearl Jam frontman Vedder lent his vocals to ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again‘ and ‘Listening To You‘, a short clip of which you can also watch below.

Elsewhere, Wilko Johnson made one of his first public appearances since being given the all clear from cancer when performing ‘The Kids Are Alright‘ with The Strypes, while Daltrey himself made an appearance to close the evening with ‘Substitute‘ and ‘Young Man Blues‘.

The Shepherds Bush Empire gig also included video tributes from Sir Paul McCartney and Iggy Pop, and turns from comedians Johnny Vegas and Rich Hall.
