Slipknot lead new entries on UK Record Store Chart

Slipknot‘s ‘The Gray Chapter’ is the highest of seven new entries inside the Top 10 on this week’s UK Record Store Chart.

Also debuting are Scott Walker, Ben Howard, Mark Lanegan, Neil Diamond, Bear’s Den and Thurston Moore, with only Caribou, U2 and Alt-J holding on to Top 10 places from last week.




The UK Record Store Chart was launched in 2012 to coincide with that year’s Record Store Day initiative and is compiled entirely from sales registered at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music outlets.
