A live version of ‘Have You Seen My Son?’ from Benjamin Booker leads the New Tunes Guide after the New Orleans songwriter was a guest on Later…With Jools Holland this week. With a lilt not a million miles away from Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Booker’s debut, self-titled album – produced by Andrija Tokic – is out now on Rough Trade.

Nasty Little Lonely are releasing the new EP ‘Bad Jack & Other Stories’ on November 14th, with a launch gig due at the Louisiana in Bristol. The band have previously supported the likes of The Wytches, God Damn, Bo Ningen, Lydia Lunch, Cold In Berlin and Screaming Females.
