Sleaford Mods will release a new EP in November, following the ‘Divide and Exit‘ album of last May.

The ‘Tiswas‘ EP comprises the title-track along with new songs ‘The Mail Don’t Fail‘, ‘6 Horseman (the Brixtons)‘, ‘Bunch Of Cunts‘ and ‘The Demon‘ and is released on November 24th.

Of ‘The Mail Don’t Fail’, apparently aimed at ‘the dross of right wing media’, Jason Williamson remarks: “Easy target I know but one that all the same is getting worse. Good people brainwashed by these cunts. Plus another stab at the slow death which is local government and its banal workings.”

While it’s probably a stretch to describe ‘Divide and Exit’ as a breakthrough for Sleaford Mods, it certainly garnered the duo a large degree of critical success and press attention, attention accrued mainly thanks to Williamson’s unrepentant acerbic tongue.

“Coming soon to a hustings near you: Sleaford Mods and their vision of a Britain where the ruling classes have to sit endlessly writing out ‘I Will Not Cheat My Expenses’ a million billion times,” Live4ever’s review concluded.

“Listeners grow a free brain cell with everyone copy. Get them now, before a major label signs them and forces them into street wear, Later Jools and collaborations with The xx. Get them now, before they’re gone.”
