Estranged bass player Nick Olivieri will briefly reunite with Queens Of The Stone Age for a one-off Halloween show at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 31st – but he doesn’t yet know if this might lead to something more permanent.

“Josh asked me to come up and do six songs with Queens, like an encore set,” he has told NME. “A reunion, but not a reunion. I’m going to get up and play some bass and sing some songs at the end of the show. It should be an interesting night.”

“That’s pretty much up to Josh. It’s his band, and when he pulls the trigger on something, it’s up to him,” he added on whether the return could be a lasting one. “I put myself out there a few different times in the past 10 years at Queens shows.”

Nick Oliveri was a part of Queens Of The Stone Age between 1998-2004. He left the band under a cloud after a series of run-ins with frontman Josh Homme.
