Frontman Paul Banks has taken up position in the director’s seat for Interpol‘s ‘Twice As Hard‘ video which can be seen in full on Live4ever at this link.

Set in a boxing gym, the video is the latest from Interpol’s new album ‘El Pintor‘, released at the start of this month after recording sessions at the Electric Lady and Atomic Sound studios in New York City with Brandon Curtis, once of Secret Machines, and Beck cohort Roger Joseph Manning Jr. on keys.

“It is the result of a band banging heads until they explode in what can only be seen as their best album in the strangest of ways imaginable,” Live4ever’s review reads. “We bear witness to a new group, playing to their strengths and channelling their love of guitar-driven, melodic melancholy through ten fantastic tunes.”
