Fleetwood Mac‘s Stevie Nicks has been rummaging through the vaults to revisit and re-record tracks primarily first conceived between 1969-1987, all of which will be put out as a double album on October 7th.

The LP’s title-track, ‘24 Karat Gold‘, has now been shared and can be heard via YouTube at the end of this article.

“Most of these songs were written between 1969 and 1987,” Nicks has previously explained. “One was written in 1994 and one in 1995. I included them because they seemed to belong to this special group. Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story. They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken-hearted and the survivors.”

Fleetwood Mac have also been working on new material in the wake of their live reunion, those these sessions apparently did not include Nicks as she was busy with other commitments.
