Elbow will spend a fair part of February next year at the Manchester Apollo and Eventim Hammersmith Apollo in London where they’ll be playing three nights a piece.
“We enjoyed our theatre tour of the States and Canada this summer so much that we decided to do some at home,” frontman Guy Garvey explains.
“There is something magic about the history of old theatres and doing residencies in these lovely buildings means we can be playful with the staging.”
Elbow start on February 5th 2015 in Manchester, and remain there on the 6th and 7th. They then travel south to London, playing gigs on February 10th, 11th and 12th.
“Also the band often discuss how great it would be to play older and rarer songs of ours alongside the ones we are best known for,” Garvey continues. “We are also hoping for a range of excellent guests and are really excited about these shows.”
