Kings Of Leon were forced to cancel a gig in New York yesterday (August 10th) after drummer Nathan Followill suffered broken ribs during an unusual incident on their tour bus. A statement released on the band’s Facebook page explains the details.

“Due to an accident on their tour bus, Kings of Leon will unfortunately have to postpone tonight’s show in Saratoga Springs, NY,” it reads.

“The band en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill.”

“Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well. The band will postpone the show that was planned for tonight August 10th, until further notice. Refunds for ticket holders will be available at point of purchase.”

Kings Of Leon are still knee deep in touring following the release of their ‘Mechanical Bull‘ album last year, and are next due in action on Wednesday, again in New York state.
