Teleman’s Jonny Sanders directs video for ‘Skeleton Dance’

Teleman‘s Jonny Sanders has clearly enjoyed himself after being given free reign to produce a video for the band’s latest single ‘Skeleton Dance‘. Have a watch of the impressive results in full on Live4ever here.

“We started with Bauhaus Theatre Mask designs by Oskar Schlemmer which to our knowledge have never actually been physically made before now,” Sanders says.

“Then we rotated succulents and fruit on a turntable. We combined this with some basic Bhangra dance moves. All the rest was just having fun in the edit. There’s also references throughout to our first video we made for ‘Cristina’.”

The track is lifted from Teleman’s superb debut album ‘Breakfast‘ – one of Live4ever’s essentials of the year so far. The band tour America and the UK from next month, starting on Friday, September 26th at the Mercury Lounge in New York. By mid-October they’ll be back in Britain and have dates booked until the 25th of that month.
