The nominations for the fourth annual AIM Independent Music Awards have been revealed, with Arctic Monkeys and London Grammar looking set to dominate the ceremony when it takes place at The Brewery in London on September 2nd.

The two bands will both compete in the Independent Album Of The Year and Independent Track Of The Year categories, while London Grammar are also up for Best Live Act alongside Bonobo, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Five Finger Death Punch and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Elsewhere Anna Calvi, Ben Watt, Blood Orange, The Pretty Reckless and Withered Hand will contest the Best ‘Difficult’ Second Album category and London Grammar will be looking for success again in the Independent Breakthrough Of The Year section, but Courtney Barnett, Future Islands, Sohn and Young Fathers will be hoping to have some say in that.
