The Strypes have announced their first collection since the release of debut album ‘Snapshot‘ last year.

On August 19th, the Irish youngsters will release the ‘4 Track Mind‘ EP, comprising ‘Hard to Say No‘, ‘So They Say‘, the Paul Weller produced ‘Still Gonna Drive You Home‘ and a cover of the Ramones‘ ‘Rockaway Beach‘.

The band are currently working on a second album with an eye on a 2015 release, and have announced US shows to support the EP at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC on the day of its release, Union Transfer in Philadelphia a day later and finally at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on August 22nd.

“If The Strypes have one key aim on ‘Snapshot’, it’s to make you dance,” Live4ever’s review reads. “Each track seems to move at a million miles an hour, with the tight arrangements and structures only adding to that feeling. Moreover, this is an album of hooky choruses and shouty verse lines – the sort of lines that will inhabit your head for days on end.”
