The Rolling Stones reflect on completing the European leg of their 14 On Fire tour in a new video which can be viewed below.
A headline set at Roskilde Festival in Denmark on July 6th brought the latest European dates to an end as part of a tour which was hit with tragedy in March due to the sudden death of Mick Jagger‘s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.
“They give you so much energy, and they’re so vibrant and so alive, that I feel that,” Jagger says in the video when commenting on the band’s fanbase. “I’m just interchanging energy with them.”
Next up on the agenda for the Stones is the rescheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand which starts on October 25th in Adelaide.
Once those shows are completed in November, the group will have been out on tour, on-and-off, for the best part of two years after a long break was brought to an end with shows in London and New Jersey towards the end of 2012 to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
