Motorhead announce November UK tour dates

Their November visits have become something of a regular fixture on the UK’s live calendar during the past few years, but a Motorhead tour last year had to be cancelled due to health issues being suffered by frontman Lemmy.

However, they’ll be hoping for better luck this time around when they again return to British shores in November for three shows, one of which (London) will be their biggest in the UK for quite some time.

Motorhead play the Manchester Apollo on November 4th, the Birmingham National Indoor Arena on the 6th and finally the Wembley Arena in London on November 8th. Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 25th).

Lemmy has been nursing various health issues since suffering a haematoma in 2013, and released the following statement when last year’s tour of the UK was postponed as a result:

“We have made the decision because I am not quite ready to hit the road yet, and am working my way back to full fitness and rude health. Don’t worry – I’m not about to start promoting veganism and alcohol-free beverages, but it is fair to say that I personally have been reconfiguring areas of my life to make sure I can come back fitter and stronger than ever.”
