Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has been giving fans a few snippets of information on the band’s new album, which is currently in construction.

Responding to questions on Twitter, Bellamy said Muse are aiming to ‘have it ready for next summer’, adding the sound is ‘gonna get heavy’.

Bellamy has been speaking of a 2015 release for the band’s seventh studio album for some time, while drummer Dominic Howard offered his own update to KROQ when speaking a few months back.

“We’re going to start this year,” he said. “Coachella is our last two gigs, then we’re completely done for touring this album.”

“We’re going to go back in May and start working on some new stuff, so I think we’ll start making it this year. If we can get something out this year, that would be great, but definitely next year.”
