Live4ever’s New Tunes Guide is back this week with the very welcome return of The Black Angels, and newcomers Battlehounds.

The Black Angels are about to give ‘Clear Forest Lake’, which was originally put out in limited form for this year’s Record Store Day, a full release on July 21st. “After roaming through the Indigo Meadow, the time has come to journey to the Clear Lake Forest, where 7 tales of diamonds, executioners, and other strange occurrences await underneath the crystal waves lapping in the lake,” guitarist Christian Bland says.

Battlehounds tracked their new song ‘Ghost Mountain’ in Adelaide, and undertook mastering sessions with the Grammy Award winning Gavin Lurssen. The single is out on July 18th through Mirador Records, and is set to be followed by an EP at the start of next year.
