Johnny Marr has confirmed the details of his second solo album which will be entitled ‘Playland‘ and released on October 6th.

“It was deliberate to work in London,” Marr has told NME of the recording of the follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Messenger‘. “Where you work definitely affects how it sounds and seeps into the music, and I’ve developed a really good feeling for London in the past couple of years, I like the frenetic atmosphere.”

As previously reported on Live4ever, the new LP will be supported with a UK tour, also in October, opening up on the 13th at the Engine Shed in Lincoln. Marr then stays out on the road for most of that month before finishing at the Leeds O2 Academy on October 29th.

‘Easy Money’
‘Dynamo’
‘Candidate’
’25 Hours’
