Jamie T is busy returning from a loong break and has now shared the new track ‘Don’t You Find‘ on YouTube after BBC DJ Zane Lowe handed out the first play – have a listen below.
All’s been quiet from Jamie T since the release of ‘Kings & Queens‘ in 2009, but the new single – out on July 21st via Virgin Records – is to herald live dates at the Glasgow Art School (July 29th), Liverpool Kazimier (30th), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (31st) and Tufnell Park Dome, London (August 7th) as he finally stirs back into life.
There was news of a re-emergence for Jamie T being on the cards last summer when former Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd revealed he had been working in the studio with the London-based songwriter.
“I’m playing with Jamie T at the moment,” he told Topman. “He’s finishing his new album. I occasionally guest on stuff, but I want to be in control. Jamie’s record is great, it’s really slow, angry punk. He’s a classic character. I know if I walked down Denmark Street now he’d be in the pub.”
