Eric Clapton trailing Ed Sheeran in race for UK’s number one album

Eric Clapton is the latest to be trailing Ed Sheeran in the fight for the UK’s number one album.

Clapton’s ‘…The Breeze‘ LP – which celebrates the life of JJ Cale, who died last year, and features the likes of Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty and Willie Nelson – is immediately behind Sheeran’s ‘x‘, which is on course for a sixth week on top.




The official chart will be confirmed this coming Sunday, August 3rd.
