Catfish & The Bottlemen have handed ‘Cocoon‘ an airing ahead of the release of their debut album. Check it out on Live4ever at this link.

Their latest track was given a premiere by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 yesterday (July 28th) as the band get ready to unleash their first LP on September 15th after steadily garnering plenty of attention during the course of this year.

“Basically it’s putting two fingers to everyone and everything,” frontman Van McCann has told XFM of the song. “I just think it’s a nice song. I think it’ll speak to people who are in dead end jobs or who are in love with somebody whose mates don’t like them being in love. It’s about being really into something and fucking telling people to leave you be.”

“It’s explosive. I’m just dead proud of the fact that it’s saying something. I don’t think there’s much music around that says much.”
