Arcade Fire were the headline attraction at British Summer Time yesterday (July 3rd), topping a bill at London’s Hyde Park which also featured Jake Bugg (who no doubt thoroughly enjoyed himself), Wild Beasts and Future Islands.

The band stuck close to the setlist which was such a winner at Glastonbury last weekend, while frontman Win Butler jokingly referenced the many problems events within Hyde Park have faced during recent years thanks to noise complaints from local residents. “Shh, don’t wake the rich people up,” he told the audience.

British Summer Time continues tonight with Black Sabbath headlining above Soundgarden, Faith No More and Soulfly.
