Excitement must be building in the Two Door Cinema Club camp as their first ever UK festival headline gig draws ever closer, and the band have now announced a warm-up show in Bournemouth next month.
They play the Bournemouth O2 Academy on July 17th, just a day before they top the 2014 Latitude Festival. Tickets go on general sale from 9am on Friday, June 6th.
“We’re ready to headline,” bass player Kevin Baird has said. “We’re ready to smash it. Over the past five years we’ve made the progression from playing in the small tents to being close to the top of the bill on the main stage.”
“Headlining a great festival like Latitude is obviously quite a big deal for us but we also feel like it is the next natural step.”
Two Door Cinema Club are leading this year’s Latitude Festival along side Damon Albarn and The Black Keys.
