Resumption of Morrissey’s North American tour is short-lived

Well that was good while it lasted. Morrissey‘s gig in Boston last Saturday (June 7th), which seemed to signal the resumption of his North American tour, has apparently only proved to be a false start with new reports coming out today that further gigs in Baltimore and Washington D.C. have been moved to later on this month.

“At the advice of Morrissey Official’s medical team, Baltimore at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is now rescheduled for June 24 and The Lincoln Theatre in Washington DC is rescheduled for June 25,” a statement reads. “All tickets previously purchased will be honored for the new dates.”

The singer first postponed shows in Atlanta and Atlantic City last week after he and his crew picked up a virus – an illness very similar to that which brought last year’s South American tour to an abrupt conclusion.

Morrissey is set to release his new solo album ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business‘ next month.
