Paul McCartney has posted a video message to fans declaring he ‘feels great’ after a viral infection put him out of action last month.

A gig at the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan on May 17th was the first to fall by the wayside, and after McCartney was revealed to have been hospitalised by the illness, the remainder of his Japanese tour was cancelled, while North American dates were put back to September.

McCartney’s back on his feet and looking well now though, and in the video (below) states: “Everybody has been asking me how I feel, I feel great, thank you very much for asking. Hey listen, this is just a note to say that the dates that were postponed, the concerts and the shows, have been rescheduled for September and October so come and see us then, we’ll come and see you.”

Sir Paul is still supporting his most recent studio album ‘New‘, which made itself known last October.
