Kings Of Leon closed out the 2014 Isle Of Wight festival yesterday (June 15th), following previous Main Stage headliners Biffy Clyro and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Opening with ‘Mechanical Bull‘ lead single ‘Supersoaker‘, the US band interspersed some past hits with more tracks taken from that most recent studio album, and predictably closed with ‘Sex On Fire‘.

This year’s Isle Of Wight festival, meanwhile, has seen a reduction in reported crime, while those in attendance were able to enjoy far better weather conditions than witnessed in 2012 and 2013.

“Crime is down as the temperatures are up,” a spokesman for Hampshire police said on Saturday. “There have been fewer crimes in all areas. So far the event plan and policing operation has been successful with one day still to go.”
