Kasabian have made their new album ‘48:13‘ available to sample in full on iTunes before it is released on Monday (June 9th). Follow this link to have a listen.

“I felt that we had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album,” guitarist and chief songwriter Serge Pizzorno has said of the album. “I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding.”

It follows 2011’s ‘Velociraptor!‘ and is set to impact just a short time before the Leicester band fulfill a long-held ambition by headlining Glastonbury later this month.

Before then, a warm-up show has been arranged at the Plymouth Pavilions on June 17th, while a gig in aid of the War Child charity will take place a day later at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

Kasabian top Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage on the final night, following fellow headliners Arcade Fire and Metallica.
