Kasabian‘s new album ‘48:13‘ is heading for the top spot on the UK Album Chart, latest midweek figures show.
If the lead is maintained, ’48:13′ would hand the Leicester band their fourth UK number one album following the similar chart successes of ‘Empire‘, ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum‘ and ‘Velociraptor!‘.
Jack White‘s second solo album ‘Lazaretto‘ is set to be another high new entry and currently stands to enter at #3, while Rival Sons are also heading for the Top 10 with ‘Great Western Valkyrie‘. Coldplay‘s latest LP ‘Ghost Stories‘, meanwhile, is holding strong at no.2.
The latest UK Album Chart will be confirmed this coming Sunday, June 15th.
