Jack White will play a special session for BBC Radio 1 next month just a short time before his Eventim Apollo gig in London on July 3rd.
A day before, White has agreed to be the special guest of DJ Zane Lowe, whose show will air live from the Maida Vale studios next Wednesday evening. The London gig is part of White’s lengthy world tour, which brings him back to the UK in November for more arena dates in Leeds, Glasgow and London again at the O2.
The shows help push his second solo album ‘Lazaretto‘, released earlier this month. “The nautical implications within the title ‘Lazaretto’ are an appropriate metaphor for the voyage of discovery through a plethora of notable historical musical landmarks throughout this album,” Live4ever’s review reads.
