Led Zeppelin have posted an official video for the bare bones, rough mix version of their classic track ‘Whole Lotta Love‘ which is due to be included as one of the bonus extras on the re-released ‘Led Zeppelin II‘.

The reissue of ‘II’ in June is part of what will eventually be an entire re-release of Led Zeppelin’s back catalogue, all with their own previously unheard goodies.
“It’s the mix from the night we recorded it, so it doesn’t have any of the overdubs everyone will be familiar with,” guitarist Jimmy Page has previously said of this track.
“It hadn’t developed into the juggernaut it became in later years, but it’s fresher, I think,” John Paul Jones added, while Robert Plant concluded: “You can see how songs grow. There are five or six other takes which aren’t present, so the shaping of these things is very interesting. With this particular version, we hadn’t reached the point yet, but it’s very, very close.”
