Video: Kasabian air new song on Later…With Jools Holland

Kasabian aired the new track ‘Bumblebee‘ from their ‘48:13‘ album during a live appearance on Later…With Jools Holland last night (May 13th). Check it out below.

‘Bumblebee’ and lead track ‘eez-eh‘ were played by the Leicester band during the show, which this week also included performances from St. Vincent, Brian Eno and Karl Hyde, Ibibio Sound Machine, Natalie Merchant and George Ezra.

Kasabian release ’48:13′ on June 9th, not long before they headline Glastonbury with Arcade Fire and Metallica. “I felt that we had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album,” guitatist Serge Pizzorno has said. “I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding.”

“Less is more,” frontman Tom Meighan added. “It’s direct. It is what it is. Just listen to it. We’ve had the confidence to lay ourselves bare. Serge has stripped it right back. It’s unbelievable.”
