The Black Keys trailing posthumous Michael Jackson album in race for UK number one

The Black Keys are trailing a new posthumous Michael Jackson release in the race for the latest UK number one album.

The duo’s ‘Turn Blue‘ LP is behind ‘Xscape‘ – which features eight unreleased Michael Jackson tracks worked on by producers such as LA Reid and Timbaland. It’s probably enough to rile drummer Patrick Carney even more after he recently labelled the collection ‘fucking bullshit’.

“It’s some fucking bullshit that sucks so bad that it took them three years after he died to make it listenable,” he told Rolling Stone. “Like he had to be dead for three years for it to be released.” He added that the tracks were only being released because LA Reid needed a new boat.”

Live4ever described ‘Turn Blue’ as being ‘on its way to eclipsing all that even ‘El Camino’ swallowed up’. Check out our verdict in full here.
