‘Fever‘ and ‘Turn Blue’s title-track have already been unveiled since Mike Tyson of all people broke the news of the blues duo’s eighth studio album on Twitter last month.
“We are always trying to push ourselves when we make a record – not repeat our previous work but not abandon it either,” drummer Patrick Carney has previously said. “On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds. We’re excited for the world to hear ‘Turn Blue’.”
Carney and his bandmate Dan Auerbach are all set to join Damon Albarn and Two Door Cinema Club as headliners at this year’s Latitude Festival in July, while next month they also have an appearance due at Glastonbury on the event’s final day – Sunday, the 29th.
