Kasabian will be in London on June 18th for a special show in aid of the War Child charity.

Just over a week before the band’s headline appearance at Glastonbury they the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, with tickets going on sale from this coming Friday (May 30th) at 9am.

The price is £50 with all profits going towards the various War Child initiatives around the world.

The London gig adds to a Glastonbury warm-up show announced last week, which will take place at the Plymouth Pavilions on June 17th.

Kasabian release their new album ‘48:13‘ on June 9th, of which Serge Pizzorno has said: “I felt that we had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding.”

“Less is more,” frontman Tom Meighan added. “It’s direct. It is what it is. Just listen to it. We’ve had the confidence to lay ourselves bare. Serge has stripped it right back. It’s unbelievable.”
