Coldplay and Oasis are among the acts due for high new entries on the UK Album Chart this weekend.

Coldplay are flying towards the fastest selling album of the year so far thanks to their latest studio release ‘Ghost Stories‘, which shifted more than 82,000 copies on its first day of sale. Currently, the new LP from former Beautiful South pair Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott is behind and on course to enter at #2.

One further place back is Oasis and their classic debut album ‘Definitely Maybe‘ – remastered and re-released on its 20th anniversary.

The latest UK Album Chart will be confirmed this coming Sunday evening (May 25th).
