Arctic Monkeys played the first of two nights at London’s Finsbury Park yesterday (May 23rd), airing a career-spanning set which nevertheless drew heavily from the band’s hit album ‘AM‘.

Opening with the ‘AM’ triple-whammy ‘Do I Wanna Know?‘, ‘Snap Out Of It‘ and ‘Arabella‘, the band went on to revisit older favourites such as ‘Dancing Shoes‘, ‘Fluorescent Adolescent‘ and, of course, ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor‘ before another, closing ‘AM’ treble of ‘One For The Road‘, ‘I Wanna Be Yours‘ and ‘R U Mine?‘.

Earlier Royal Blood, Miles Kane and Tame Impala had provided impressive support, with Kane including a cover of The Rolling Stones‘ ‘Sympathy For The Devil‘ in his set.
