The new song follows hot on the heels of ‘Fever‘ after the duo’s latest studio effort was initially announced on Twitter by Mike Tyson no less. It features production from Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney along with a little help from Danger Mouse.
“We are always trying to push ourselves when we make a record – not repeat our previous work but not abandon it either,” drummer Carney has explained. “On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds. We’re excited for the world to hear ‘Turn Blue’.”
The Black Keys headline this year’s Latitude Festival, where they are joined at the top of the bill by Two Door Cinema Club and Damon Albarn. In addition, an appearance at Glastonbury is booked for June on the event’s final day – Sunday, the 29th.
