Robert Plant: ‘Zero chance of Led Zeppelin reunion’

The current revisiting of Led Zeppelin‘s enviable back catalogue appears to have done nothing to make frontman Robert Plant any more keen to perform live with the band again.

During a chat with the BBC, Plant apparently ‘rolled his eyes’ when asked about the possibility of future concerts, saying there is ‘zero’ chance of another onstage reunion.

For his part guitarist Jimmy Page, who has led the remastering process of Led Zeppelin’s studio album collection, more keenly said: “I’m sure people would love to hear it. I’m not the one to be asking, I don’t sing.”

Plant and Page, together with their fellow surviving bandmate John Paul Jones, reunited in 2007 for a concert organised in memory of the late Atlantic Records founder and president Ahmet Ertegun.

Led Zeppelin’s remastered back catalogue will begin emerging in June when ‘I‘, ‘II‘ and ‘III‘ are set for release with a variety of bonus features and rarities.
