Echo & The Bunnymen have added the new track ‘Lovers On The Run‘ to Soundcloud as their twelfth studio effort ‘Meteorites‘ prepares to impact on June 3rd. Have a listen below.
A statement recently described mainman Ian McCulloch‘s belief that the album is, ‘The band’s best work for a very long time’, while McCulloch himself added:
“Meteorites is what Echo and the Bunnymen mean and are meant to be – up there in heaven, untouchable, celestial, beautiful and real. It has changed my life.”
Echo & The Bunnymen will take the album out on a trip around the UK next month, beginning at the Leamington Spa Assembly Rooms on May 2nd. Dates then follow at the Oxford O2 Academy (10th), Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (11th), Newcastle Tyne Theatre (13th), Manchester Ritz (14th), Edinburgh Queens Hall (16th), Shepherd’s Bush Empire (17th), Bristol O2 Academy (18th) and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (20th).
