The Rolling Stones will return to Australasia in October after the postponement of this month’s tour, reports The Guardian.

Gigs across Australia and New Zealand which were due to begin in Perth yesterday (March 19th) and run through to April 5th were cancelled this week after the sudden death of Mick Jagger‘s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

However, The Guardian now states promoters Frontier Touring have said the band will be back in October and November, and are happy to offer refunds to tickets holders who won’t be able to attend the new dates.

“If the new dates are not suitable, rest assured you will be able to secure a refund,” they said. “While we encourage fans to hold on to their tickets, the option to secure a refund is now available to you via the official ticketing agency you purchased from.”

The Rolling Stones’ 14 On Fire Tour began earlier this year and continues the live return which started towards the end of 2012 with gigs in London and New Jersey.
