After leaving it to Mike Tyson to reveal the barebones, The Black Keys have now been good enough to disclose the finer points of their new album ‘Turn Blue‘.
Produced by the duo along side Danger Mouse, their seventh studio LP and third since the initial mainstream recognition afforded by 2011’s ‘Brothers‘, ‘True Blue’ is 11 tracks in length, and is being led by ‘Fever‘ which can be heard below.
“We are always trying to push ourselves when we make a record – not repeat our previous work but not abandon it either,” drummer Patrick Carney explains. “On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds. We’re excited for the world to hear ‘Turn Blue’.”
The Black Keys have also confirmed an appearance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival during the event’s final day – Sunday, June 29th.
