The Reading and Leeds festivals will go on tour, sort of, around the UK later this month, offering attendees the chance of winning tickets to the main event in August.
Concurrent gigs for the twin events in cities such as Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow and Sheffield, in association with various club promoters, will present some of the festival’s 2014 acts in ‘audiovisual mix’ form.
Music – just music mind – from Jake Bugg, Blink-182, Arctic Monkeys, Disclosure, The 1975, The Courteeners and SBTRKT is promised.
So far, the Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182 have been confirmed as headliners for this summer’s event. They will top the dual main stages over the bank holiday weekend of August 22nd-24th.
