Parquet Courts to continue lengthy touring with June UK dates

Having just a completed a run of UK dates, Parquet Courts will soon be back to continue what has been a virtually unbroken spell on the tour bus since the re-emergence of their debut full length album ‘Light Up Gold‘ and the release of the ‘Tally All The Things That You Broke‘ EP last year.

The five shows all take place in June, and consist of visits to the Glasgow SWG3 on the 21st of that month, Liverpool’s Kazimer a day later, the Birmingham Institute on the 23rd, London ULU (25th) and the Oxford O2 Academy (26th).

In addition, the newly-signed Rough Trade outfit have revealed a single entitled ‘Sunbathing Animal‘ – backed by another fresh cut entitled ‘Pilgrims To Nowhere‘ – is to be put out for this year’s Record Store Day initiative on April 19th. Although audio has not yet been forthcoming, if the urge takes you a high-resolution copy of its sheet music can be perused on the Rough Trade official website.
