London exhibition celebrating Oasis’ career from 1993-1997 launches next month

The early period of Oasis‘ career, from 1993-1997, will be celebrated next month with an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia giving the inside track on the creation and live touring of their first three albums – ‘Definitely Maybe‘, ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?‘ and ‘Be Here Now‘.

20 years to the day since the release of the band’s debut single ‘Supersonic‘ – April 11th – Chasing the Sun: Oasis 1993–1997 will launch at the Londonewcastle Project Space in Shoreditch, London, running through to April 22nd. Live and in-studio photographs from the likes of Jill Furmanovsky, Paul Slattery, Tom Sheehan, Kevin Cummins and Jamie Fry will be on display, as will contemporary memorabilia.

Oasis’ celebrated debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ has been remastered on numerous formats for re-release on May 19th with various special features and bonuses. Its two immediate studio successors, mentioned above, are expected to follow in similar form later this year.
