Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has agreed to host two special BBC 6Music shows later this month as he continues an attack on our senses in preparation for the release of his band’s new album.

Wilson – who admitted the main motivation behind his decision to take part in the BBC series The Voice was to increase exposure for the Kaiser Chiefs ahead of ‘Education, Education, Education & War‘s release on March 31st – will highlight some of his favourite songs both new and old during the programmes, and also plans on having a chat with producer Stephen Street.

“I’m an avid listener of 6 Music – especially on Sunday afternoons,” Wilson remarks. “I love playing records and talking to people so I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to make radio on the weekend.”

The shows are due to air on the afternoons of March 23rd and March 30th between 1pm-2pm.
