Kaiser Chiefs are previewing short segments of their new album ‘Education, Education, Education & War‘ over on YouTube before it gets a full release at the end of this month. Have a listen if you so wish below.
The LP’s release has been given a degree of extra notice as the band’s frontman Ricky Wilson continues his stint as a judge the BBC reality series The Voice – a move which he has admitted was largely embarked upon for that very purpose.
“I love my band and I want our new record to get noticed,” he disclosed to NME back in January. “I know that everyone is going, ‘He thinks he’s going to sell more records and more tickets.’ And that is why I’m doing it. I’m not a fucking idiot.”
“I wanted to be a judge on The Voice to get our new stuff out there to as many people as possible, because it has been a while,” he also told the Guardian newspaper a month later.
